But yes, I can see how that kind of thing would make any normal, sane, grown-up person run screaming for the hills.&lt;br&gt;

Like many others I joined both for a short while, got snowed under by a blizzard of unsolicted "Will you be my friend" Emails from 13 year olds the globe over who obviously have bulkmailing skills (or perhaps the perspicacity to see how cool it would be to have a 52 year old git like me as some kind of "dodgy-not-really-my-uncle type friend". No? Didn't think so!).&lt;br&gt;
