I'm afraid that I still don't get the whole Facebook and MySpace phenomenon. Like many others I joined both for a short while, got snowed under by a blizzard of unsolicted "Will you be my friend" Emails from 13 year olds the globe over who obviously have bulkmailing skills (or perhaps the perspicacity to see how cool it would be to have a 52 year o more…

Ah, I remember my old Aloe Vera... For months it kept dying and redying on me, until I repotted it with some lovely new compost. Within a few weeks it was an uncontrollable beast equipped with razor sharp spines on each edge. So much so that it outgrew my windowledge and had to be released into the wild.... more…
